The Grandfathers

*
*
Sal wishes his brother would stop dressing like him.
*
*
*
Al wishes his brother would stop dressing like him.
*
*
*
The group of men that have coffee with Ed in the morning will never know about the night they saved
his life.
*

*
*
Stanton is glad he never got tattoos like his USMC buddies.
He thinks the ink blotches look terrible on their 90-year old arms.
*
*
*
Horace knows he looks like a head of lettuce when he wears this outfit,
but his wife loves the way it matches his eyes.
*
*
*
He cannot wait to grow out his beard to play Santa Claus every year. It is a shame he can’t grow his waistline, too.
*
*
*
He often wonders if things would have been different
if he told his family he loved them more.
*

*
*
He does not mind that the whole town calls him Abe.
*
*
*
Cecil has been in love with Twila from the day they locked eyes.
He wishes she wasn’t married to his brother.
*
*
*
Art thinks his father’s old dentures are the perfect size, but no one has the heart to tell him they are far too large.
*

*
 *
He talks to his wife, about his wife.
It makes her sad that he can identify his friends, but he can no longer recognize her.
*
*
 *
Harvey gets excited about flying, only because he likes to see how many complimentary blankets he can bring home.
*
*
 *
 Jack mumbles so often now,
his family can barely understand him.
*
*
 *
The hardest worker in all of town,
Elliot uses two canes to get around.
*
*
*
His friends keep telling him how much younger he is starting to look.
Peter is afraid to tell them it is because of the yoga class he has been taking.
*

The Grandfathers are finally finished and now available.
Which ones are your favorites?
Do any remind you of someone you know?
I'd love to hear your stories~

I love each one of these guys. I love how you catch their personalities perfectly and the little stories you give each one is great.

OOh so many to choose from, my favourites are:

Stanton, love his face and the vest.
Cecil, he has an adorable face.
Jenkins, so loveable but such a sad story.
and Elliot, he reminds me of an old guy in my town :)

They are all fabulous!!

Thanks everyone! My three favorites are Stanton, Jenkins, and Elliot. I loved making the clothes for all of them. I had fun with Theodore's floral shirt, too!
