IF*worn

People think Marienne must be exhausted
to carry around ears so large
each day.

{Her neck is stronger than it looks}

However, nothing makes here feel more
{worn}
at the end of the day
than the constant questions
that she gets from others.

"I was raised by mice,"
she repeats,
day after day.
